SEO: a stronger website, found for the right searches
Improve your website's structure, content quality and relevance so the business can be found for the searches that matter in its market.
The assessment is an initial, limited review — not a full technical audit, and not free implementation.
Search engine optimisation is the work of making a website understandable and credible to search engines, so that it can be considered for the searches a business actually wants. For most small and medium businesses that means being relevant for a specific set of commercial searches — a service, a product, a location, a problem — rather than competing for the broadest terms in a category.
Our starting point is the website as it is, not a template of tactics. We look at how the pages are structured, whether each page states clearly what it offers and where, whether the content is specific enough to be useful, and whether anything technical is preventing pages from being understood or reached.
The work is then sequenced: the foundations first, content quality second, measurement throughout. We do not promise rankings — we commit to the work and report what changes.
The problem
What this service addresses
A business can be competent, well run and still invisible in search, because the website does not communicate what it does in the terms its customers use.
- Pages that describe the business in its own internal language rather than the way customers search.
- One page trying to cover every service, so none of them is clearly relevant.
- Thin or duplicated content across similar pages, which gives a search engine no reason to choose one.
- Technical foundations that hold the site back: unclear structure, weak internal linking, slow mobile pages, unclear titles.
- No reliable view of which searches already bring impressions, and no plan for the ones that should.
Who benefits
Who gets the most from this
If your situation looks like one of these, this is likely to be a sensible place to start. If it does not, we will say so rather than sell it anyway.
- Local businesses and service providers who depend on being found for a service plus a location.
- Manufacturers and wholesalers whose buyers search by product, material or specification.
- Retailers with a physical presence who want enquiries and visits from search as well as walk-ins.
- Businesses with a website already published that produces few or no enquiries from search.
- Businesses preparing to compete in a new city, region or export market.
Scope
What the work can include
The items below are the building blocks. What is actually included is agreed in writing before work starts — not everything here is right for every business.
- 01
Website structure and information architecture
Reviewing how pages relate to one another, whether each service or product group has a page of its own, and whether internal links guide a reader — and a crawler — to the pages that matter.
- 02
Technical foundations
Checking indexability, titles and headings, URL structure, canonical signals, sitemap coverage, mobile rendering and page weight, then fixing or briefing the fixes in priority order.
- 03
Content quality and relevance
Rewriting or briefing pages so each one answers a real question completely, uses the language customers use, and adds detail a competitor's page does not have.
- 04
Keyword and topic planning
Mapping the searches worth being relevant for onto specific pages, and identifying where a page is missing entirely. We separate commercial searches from research searches rather than treating them the same.
- 05
On-page implementation
Titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, internal links, image text and structured data — implemented directly where we have access, or delivered as a precise brief for your developer.
- 06
Measurement and reporting
Search Console and analytics configured properly, with a short monthly summary of what changed in impressions, clicks and enquiries, written in plain language.
Deliverables
What you receive
Deliverables are listed in the proposal and agreed before work starts, so there is no ambiguity about what is being produced.
- A written technical and structural review, prioritised by impact rather than length.
- A keyword and topic map showing which page is intended to be relevant for which search.
- Revised or new pages, published, or a developer-ready brief where implementation sits with someone else.
- Structured data for the organisation and each service where it is appropriate.
- Search Console and analytics configured, with access retained by you.
- A monthly or end-of-project report explaining what changed and what we recommend next.
Dependencies
What depends on you or on third parties
Some of this work cannot proceed without access, approvals or a platform that allows the change. We would rather name those now than discover them mid-project.
- Access to the website — a content management login, repository access, or a developer we can work with.
- Read-only Google Search Console access, which we can request on your behalf.
- Your approval on factual content: services, coverage areas, specifications and claims.
- Some knowledge from you about how customers describe what they need — a short conversation is usually enough.
- Third-party platforms stay outside our control: search engines decide what to index and how to rank it, and platform limitations may restrict what can be changed without development work.
Engagement
How scope, duration and fees are agreed
Nothing is charged for before you have approved a written proposal. The proposal is the agreement.
Scope
Scope is agreed in writing before work starts: which pages, which services, how much content is written or rewritten, and who implements the technical changes. Anything outside that list is quoted separately rather than absorbed silently.
Duration
Project work is typically delivered over several weeks depending on the number of pages; ongoing engagements run month to month with a stated minimum. The timeline is set out in the proposal and updated if your approvals or access change it.
Fees
Our packages start at the published prices, in INR for clients in India and in the agreed currency for international clients. Final fees are confirmed in a written proposal based on your business goals, scope and deliverables, and that proposal states what is included, what is excluded and any third-party costs that are not ours to bill.

You can engage this service on its own, or as part of a coordinated combination with another area. Where services are combined, the proposal shows each area separately. See how pricing works.
Limits
What this service cannot promise
We improve visibility and digital foundations. We cannot guarantee rankings, AI citations, enquiry volumes or sales.
- We do not guarantee rankings, traffic volumes or enquiry numbers — search results are decided by search engines, not by us.
- Movement is usually gradual; a new or restructured site typically needs months before changes are clearly visible.
- Results depend on factors outside the website, including competition, market size and how the business is described elsewhere online.
SEO: questions we get asked
How long does SEO take to show anything?
Technical corrections can be picked up within days, but meaningful movement in search visibility usually takes a few months and longer in competitive markets. We report monthly so progress is visible even when it is small, and we would rather set that expectation now than explain it later.
Do you guarantee first-page rankings?
No. Nobody can honestly guarantee a position in results we do not control. What we commit to is the agreed work — the review, the fixes, the pages and the reporting — delivered in the order set out in the proposal.
Do we need a new website?
Usually not. Most sites can be improved rather than replaced. If the platform genuinely blocks the work — no way to edit pages, or a structure that cannot support clean URLs — we will say so plainly and scope that separately.
Can you work alongside our developer or existing agency?
Yes. It is common for us to produce the brief, the copy and the structured data, and hand implementation to an existing developer. We can also implement directly where you have no one.
Is this only for businesses in India?
No. The work is delivered remotely and is not location-dependent. We work with businesses in India and in the US, UK, Australia, UAE and other markets, and we plan around the searches used in the client's own market rather than assuming Indian search behaviour.
